Hi,everyone. I'm a 35 years old guy who is currently working at a bookstore.Three years ago I have learned the LBL(Layer by layer) methods to solve the 3x3x3 Rubiks' cube.And later I found out it is meaningless to solve the cube over and over again.So I gave up cubing.Until...
One day,I came across a video on Youtube and it's showing a guy who is able to solved a Rubiks' cube within 15 seconds.What really amazed me is that he can solve the cube blindfolded in 1 minute times.Can you believe that?
How I wish I could solve the cube as fast as him.I think.
It's just a dream for me and I never thought I can reach that levels. I dare to say I myself is a nerd completely failed in gaming and sport,my friends know it all.
The turning point in my cubing life is after I randomly watching a speedcubing video tutorial. Its' explanations is so good. I know I can be a speedcuber too from that moments.
I search high and low just to buy a D.I.Y. cube in Singapore.It tooks me 3 month to get my first D.I.Y. cube. I google it to find the place. My Rubiks' cube drive me crazy most of the time,I can't even perform a proper finger tricks due to its poor quality. After I owned my very first D.I.Y cube,I practicing the finger tricks and memorizing algorithms whenever and wherever I go.
After 7 months of learning,my efforts is paid off. Now my personal best is 18 seconds and average of 12 is 25 seconds. I know I wasn't good enough to compare to those speedcuber. But I'm content. I know and pretty sure that in the near future I can achieved my goal:10 seconds. It's still a long way to go.
